Bethany Hofer

Bethany Hofer is a versatile artist who works with acrylics, soft pastels, charcoal, graphite, etc., however, she enjoys working with acrylics most of all. She has a passion for using process-based art and abstract expressionism to help work through her perfectionistic tendencies, anxiety and inner turmoil. Her abstract pieces are rarely ever planned out, allowing for the process to be even more rich and expressive. She never knows how her paints are going to dry, however, this is a part of the therapeutic process of letting go of control. Her work is full of expressive lines, colors, splatters, and textures. If there is no paint on her hands, she questions herself as an artist!

Bethany is from a little town, called Sherrard, IL. She has loved drawing and painting ever since she was a little girl. Bethany also loves people, her dog, Magic, and mini things.
